Many people are finding that there are real advantages in a recession, and cheaper travel is one of them. We don't want to give you the wrong impression. We are having a stormin' season, with lots of happy people hiking, cycling and paddling the mountains, fiords, rainforests and lagoons that are our stomping grounds.

It's a win-win situation. As long as the USD stays strong, you can book our Rimu or Jaguar trips for $400 off the sticker price. This applies to all bookings made up until and including May 31 2009, and the fine print is, well, there isn't any.

And yes, we understand if you don't think a vacation is a wise idea right now. We don't want anyone on our trips who doesn't want to be there! If booking a trip to New Zealand or South America doesn't make sense at the moment, that's OK. We'll still be here in two years, five, whatever.
